Manufacturing Capabilities

For over 50 years, Banner Medical has provided precision ground materials to OEMs, Contract Manufacturers, and Precision Machine Shops that use centerless ground bar to maximize CNC Swiss machine productivity. Our customers know they can count on grade materials that maintain consistent straightness and outside diameter over the entire length of the bar, and have a surface finish that meets or exceeds their requirements. We will consistently hold +/-.006″ TIR (Total Indicated Runout) straightness tolerance over a 12′ bar standard for all medical applications. Upon request, a +/-.0001″ OD tolerance can be achieved for critical applications. In addition to holding extremely tight dimensional tolerance, Banner can supply surface finish quality to 8 Ra over the bar’s entire length. This leads to increases in machine productivity by achieving product that is closest to near net shape and has the surface finish requirements built in to reduce additional processes down the line.
